EndoSoft® announced today that EndoVault® 3.0 has received Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification as a complete ambulatory and inpatient endoscopy software. The certification was awarded by InfoGard, an accredited ONC-ACB certification body. The certification was conferred in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The certification was received on May 28, 2015, with certification # IG-3332-15-0041 and # IG-3332-15-0042.
What MU Stage 2 Means for Endoscopy Software
Meaningful Use Stage 2 introduces expanded clinical quality measures with patient safety, care coordination, and other features that prioritize optimal patient care. Additional required software is kept at a minimum, only requiring First Databank® and NIH (National Institute of Health). Meaningful Use Stage 2 also introduces exciting new data exchange enhancements that will allow EndoSoft® providers to seamlessly communicate clinical information between their own endoscopy software & most other products on the market.
