EndoSoft®, a leading multi-specialty EHR software company, has announced their Meaningful Use Stage 2 certified EHR application, EndoVault®, has been granted a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN, #20151984) by the Department of Defense.
The CoN accreditation from the United States Army analyzes and ensures that EndoSoft®’s products meet strict Army and Department of Defense (DoD) standards for security, compatibility, and sustainability. All enterprise software products in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure Network require CoN certification, as do all the listed Army functional components that use the Army Enterprise Infrastructure, including National Guard, Army Reserve and other Army commands.
To guarantee that only the most secure, enterprise-grade products are running on its network, the US Army instituted the Certificate of Networthiness, a certification that applies to all organizations fielding, using, or managing ISS on the Army Enterprise Architecture/LandWarNet (LWN), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off-the- Shelf (GOTS). In accordance with AR 25-1, paragraph 6-8 activities must obtain a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) before they connect hardware/software to the LWN.
