EndoSoft® has implemented its API integration with Epic® to complete a streamlined workflow at Grady Memorial. The first-of-its-kind integration now allows clinicians in gastroenterology and pulmonology departments to access EndoVault® endoscopy software directly through their Epic® application, streamlining their workflows and enhancing overall user experience and patient care.

EndoWorks® to EndoVault®: Transitioning to New Endoscopy Software
Previously using EndoWorks®, Grady Memorial needed an endoscopy software solution that ensured seamless data migration and improved workflow efficiency. Leveraging over 20 years of expertise, EndoSoft® successfully migrated all discrete data, images, and reports into EndoVault®, preserving native accessibility. Access via Epic® grants clinicians streamlined workflows through fewer clicks & less change fatigue, increasing EHR usability and patient care.
“Interoperability has always been a high priority for EndoSoft®, so when we came up with the concept of this integration, we were enthusiastic to develop and implement it.” stated Zohair Hussain, VP of Product Development and Integration. “It’s been a pleasure working alongside the team at Grady and we look forward to offering this robust and seamless integration to more of our existing and future Epic® user clients.”
With command line integration, EndoVault® launches from Epic® Hyperspace, passing parameters for user, patient, and encounter context. “Working alongside the EndoSoft® developers as a customer to meet our API EMR integration request was definitely a great experience…” stated Mr. Jay Brijlal, Director of Clinical Systems, Integration & Imaging at Grady Memorial. “My team and I are definitely pleased with the support received from EndoSoft® with our issues and requests.”
The implementation didn’t stop with the gastroenterology department – Grady Memorial also integrated pulmonary imaging and procedure documentation via Epic® API. Running two advanced specialties on one solution, Grady now has the infrastructure to reduce IT maintenance and implement additional specialties.
Mr. Hussain continued: “Integrated healthcare delivery will shape the future of healthcare, and this integration is proof of that.”
