Schenectady, NY – June 16, 2015 – EndoSoft® announced today that EndoVault® 3.0 has received Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification as a complete EMR software for use in ambulatory and inpatient settings from InfoGard, an accredited ONC-ACB certification body. The certification was conferred in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The certification was received on May 28, 2015, with certification # IG-3332-15-0041 and # IG-3332-15-0042.
Meaningful Use Stage 2 introduces many changes, including expanded clinical quality measures with patient safety, care coordination, and other great features that prioritize optimal patient care. Additional required software is kept at a minimum, only requiring First Databank® and NIH (National Institute of Health). Meaningful Use Stage 2 also introduces exciting new data exchange enhancements that will allow EndoSoft® providers to seamlessly communicate clinical information with most other products on the market.
“We are very pleased to make this announcement.” said Rakesh Madan, EndoSoft® President and CEO. “Our application will help physicians and facilities raise the bar in safety & efficiency by improving the quality of care provided to patients and overall benefits with data submissions. It is our goal to aid in furthering the cause of providing better patient care and we believe our Meaningful Stage 2 certification is a step in the right direction.”
